UK Government mulls state-backed Covid insurance for festivals

The UK Government is considering stepping in to underwrite a state-backed insurance scheme to enable festivals and live music events to go ahead this summer amid a growing call to action from MPs and leading music industry figures such as Sir Cliff Richard and Robert Plant.
