SiriusPoint to provide capacity to aviation PA Air Centurion
SiriusPoint is set to provide capacity to aviation insurance program administrator Air Centurion Insurance Services, as well as collaborating on its underwriting strategy and product development.
Beginning from 1 August, under the partnership Air Centurion will exclusively use SiriusPoint America Insurance Company’s paper across the US.
Founded in 2016 and offering insurance products to the aviation industry, Air Centurion’s current partners include Falls Lake National Insurance Company and Falls Lake Fire & Casualty Company.
Commenting on the partnership, Air Centurion founder, president and CEO Jason Niemela said: “Having the support and backing of the SiriusPoint team means we can continue to deliver a specialised offering to the market, providing products that are custom designed for each client based on their specific exposures.
“Our partnership with SiriusPoint underscores our commitment to deliver on our objectives to become a reliable provider of aviation coverage across the US.”
Patrick Charles, head of North America insurance at SiriusPoint, added: “We look forward to partnering with the Air Centurion team, combining our programs experience with our aviation know-how to be more than a paper and capital provider.
“Our focus now is to support the further growth of Air Centurion’s underwriting expertise and product offering to the (re)insurance industry.”
