Helvetia posts 97.4% combined ratio and profit miss in 2023

Swiss insurer Helvetia has reported a non-life combined ratio of 97.4 percent for the full year 2023 and saw profits miss analyst consensus as earnings were dragged by a higher-than-anticipated claims burden from natural catastrophes and large loss events.
