EC set to issue statement of objections on Aon-WTW deal: Reports

A report by Reuters that the European Commission is set to warn Aon that its $30bn combination with Willis Towers Watson may negatively impact competition “unless concessions are offered in the coming weeks” relates to the potential issue of a so-called “statement of objections” which is a standard part of a Phase II investigation, legal sources have said.
