CinFin swings to $66mn UW loss in Q3 from $121mn gain YoY

Cincinnati Financial (CinFin) reported a $66mn third quarter underwriting loss Monday evening, a reversal from last year’s $121mn underwriting gain, after the Ohio-based insurer registered $275mn in catastrophe losses in the quarter, up from $217mn a year ago.
