Aviva shares gain on consensus beat and hope of shareholder returns

Aviva shares rose as much as 3.5 percent on Thursday after the insurer reported a consensus-beating operating profit for the full year 2020 and said it may give cash back to shareholders after selling its remaining business in Italy.
