AM Best notes AWAC’s variable performance while affirming ratings

AM Best has affirmed Allied World Assurance Company Holdings’ A (Excellent) financial strength rating, while noting the Fairfax subsidiary’s operating performance has varied over the past five years but the underwriting results have been in line with its peers.
