Fitch: Price decreases helped drive US D&O loss/DCC ratio up to 68.7% in 2022

The US D&O loss and defense and cost containment (DCC) ratio increased 4.7 point to 68.7 percent in 2022, according to Fitch, which believes a negative shift in pricing and claims uncertainty will pressure revenues and drive higher segment loss ratios in 2023.
