Gallagher Re adds LM Re’s El Angoudi for parametrics and EMEA agriculture

Liberty Mutual Re’s Abdessamad El Angoudi has joined Gallagher Re as head of agriculture EMEA and parametric sales international.

El Angoudi had worked at Liberty for nearly 13 years, most recently as senior reinsurance underwriter in Liberty Mutual Re’s agriculture and parametrics team.

As well as leading Gallagher Re’s agriculture practice in EMEA, El Angoudi joins a growing parametric team led by Antoine Bavandi, global head of public sector, parametric and climate resilience solutions.

In a LinkedIn post, El Angoudi said: “After nearly 13 rewarding years at Liberty Mutual Re, where I had the privilege of working alongside an incredible team and contributing to meaningful projects, I’m excited to embark on this new journey.

“At Gallagher Re, I will be focusing on expanding agriculture and parametric business across EMEA and beyond.”
