B&W optimistic of greater E&S carrier appetite in 2024
There is growing optimism that commercial surplus lines carriers will in 2024 be increasingly open to writing new business, while the personal lines market remains severely disrupted with agents urged to become comfortable with utilizing wholesalers to complete placements, according to a panel of Burns & Wilcox executives.
