Red Cross calls for further backing following launch of disaster fund insurance mechanism

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) has called on global donors to support more efficient humanitarian relief in response to climate-driven crises, following the recent launch of its insurance backstop mechanism.
