Japan wind on course for 5-15% increases in orderly 1.4 renewal

Excess-of-loss (XoL) layers on the big three Japanese insurers’ cat programs that were hit by the 2018 and 2019 typhoons are set to price up in the 5-15 percent range as firm order terms come to the market ahead of the 1 April renewal, The Insurer understands.
